Computex Taipei 2018 was rounded off on June 9th, in Taipei, Taiwan. Allion was honor to join the event with USB-IF and SSD Alliance, in which we all together strived for providing the cutting edge solutions to meet the fastest growing IT industry trend. At the SSDA booth, we introduced the new testing plan/methodologies for storages in IoT world, such as interoperability and user scenarios. Moreover, at the USB booth, we provided comprehensive USB testing solutions, including USB-IF compliance program, product validation, and test fixtures certified by USB-IF. Allion @ Shenzhen China Smart Home Expo 2018
The fourth China Smart Home Expo 2018 (CSHE) was successfully held in Shenzhen, China. Allion introduced our brand new IoT validation services, comprising “Wireless Heap Map Analysis”, “Interoperability Test”, “Voice Recognition Validation” and “IoT Usability Test” at the venue, aiming to help machinery and consumer electronics manufacturers marching into IoT world and managing the quality issues in the product development process.
Allion x VESA @ DisplayPort Asia Series 2018- Workshop & PlugTest
VESA DisplayPort Asia Series 2018 (Taipei/Tokyo/Shanghai) were rounded off throughout the month of May. At the workshop, VESA Compliance Manager, Jim Choate, shared “DP Next Generation” that blueprinted the future DP technologies. Technical Manager of Allion, Lexus Lee, spoke of “Advanced DisplayPort Testing,” aiming to ensure DP equipped device quality. At the plugtest, Allion collaborated with VESA to offer pre-certification test for the VESA members who registered the event.
Allion’s Plugfests @ Tokyo & Shanghai

Allion’s Plugfests were successfully held in Tokyo and Shanghai. Our customers were invited to experience our test services, including DP 1.4 / Alt mode, USB PD 3.0 and HDMI 2.1 Cable. Meanwhile, it’s also our honor to have VESA Compliance manager, Jim Choate to provide on-site consultation for Allion’s customers.
Allion @ China MCPC Workshop 2018
The MCPC Workshop 2018 was well-organized by Allion and Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium (MCPC) in Shenzhen, China. As the first certified testing lab of MCPC, Allion elaborated current safety issues for mobile battery charging, and MCPC certification and got positive feedbacks at the workshop.
Allion @ China USB PD Fast Charging Forum 2018
The China USB PD Fast Charging Forum 2018 was successfully held by the industry-leading charging platform “chargerlab” in Shenzhen. Over hundreds of USB PD experts came to discuss the fast charging technology and its future of application development. Mark Lai, Allion General Manager in Greater China, was honored to serve as an award presenter for the new launched USB PD products.
