Allion Validation Academy 2018 was successfully rounded off, on January 28, in Nankang Software Park. Together with our co-organized partner SMAhome of Messe Frankfurt, we shared "2018 Top 10 smart home trends in technology, product, and application" in depth, as well as providing solutions for validating products' UX, UI designs, and wireless capability.

 
Technical Insight
The larger scale applications of smart technology has created more complex issues. In this article, we argue that, since the communi-cations of devices have been extended from “one-to-one” to “one-to-many,” product makers need whole new methodologies to validate the functionality, performance, and interoperability of their products. We will share the test results from Allion Smart Life Program.

Ultra High Definition Alliance (UHDA) has recently authorized Allion as its very first ATC (Authorized Test Center) for Mobile HDR Premium in Asia. Starting from today, Allion provides solutions for multiple kinds of UHDA Certification programs, including pre-tests, technical consulting, certification tests, as well as debugging supports.
Allion&TRC Elaborate the 5G Testing Plan
Collaborated with Training Research Co., LTD. (TRC), Allion held a technical seminar, on February 8, in Nangang Software Park. Not only did TRC elaborate their latest testing plans regarding to 5G, LTE, and Wi-Fi, but Allion’s senior manager, Thomas Chang, also shared our “Scenario Testing” methodology, which paired up with our new wireless heat map program to monitor/analyze the real-time wireless usage in the environment. We together showed attendees our capability in the upcoming IoT Era.

Allion @CES 2018
The world’s largest electronic show, CES, has been held on Jan. 9-12, in Las Vegas, NV, USA. Together with our long-term partner, HDMI Forum Inc., Allion attended the event and assisted the alliance promote the latest HDMI 2.1 specification. HDMI 2.1 supports 8K and 10K resolution, which will optimize user’s visual experience. The comprehensive testing plan of HDMI 2.1 will be released in the second-half of 2018. Allion@ Automotive World 2018!
Automotive World Japan Show 2018 was held at Tokyo Big Sight in January. Besides showing our capability of smart car testing, Allion’s experts shared their understandings of the connectivity and interoperability issues of connected devices. With our abundant experience in the testing field, vendors will be able to prevent future issues that caused by the matches between IVI systems and the diverse smart devices in the market.
Allion@ Bluetooth UnPlugFest 59
Bluetooth UnPlugFest (UPF) 59, was successfully closed on Feb. 1 in Vancouver, Canada. Over 60 member companies attended the event and provided more than 200 testing booths, including IC, headphone, mobile, and other vendors of electronic devices. To enable “many-to many” communications among devices, Bluetooth SIG has developed Bluetooth Mesh. Therefore, UPF 59 also invited famous automotive and IoT product makers. As always, Allion sponsored the event and provided consultations for all Bluetooth Compliance Programs.
